April 20th, 2008, Kevin Strang

We were lucky enough to have Kevin Strang do a wonderful recital at the white house.
He played some solo clarinet, and then was accompanied by Adrianna Venturini and Jamila Tekalli for the Brahms Clarinet Trio.
A beautiful piece, played very well by these UCF graduate students.

March 30th, 2008 Jan Allan

We were very fortunate to have very well known Swedish trumpeter Jan Allan come and perform with a strong band, with Per Danielsson on piano, Charlie Silva on bass, Walt Hubbard on drums, Tammy Danielsson on alto, and Jack Wilkins on tenor.
Jan has been playing trumpet for over 60 years, and all that experience shows.
They played some jazz standards as well as some Swedish originals.
