Month of Jazz / Live at Timucua: Orian Rose is a drummer and composer based in New York City who draws upon his diverse background, including Israeli-Dutch heritage and upbringing in India, to infuse his compositions and playing with unique multicultural influences incorporating Middle Eastern flavors. Orian creates a distinct sound for his quintet, promising audiences a dynamic, vivid, and exhilarating evening filled with musicians from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for playing together.
Orian Rose graduated with honors from The School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School and was awarded full-tuition scholarships by both The New School and Berklee College of Music.
